Samantha Senyshyn (she/her), MACP, RP, MACP, R.P.

Samantha is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in the assessment and treatment of child and youth mental health as well as parent coaching and support.
Samantha has worked extensively in youth and adolescent mental health addressing serious mental health concerns such as trauma, personality disorders, depression, eating disorders, anxiety, self-harm and other high risk behaviour. Samantha works with parents to build the skills to support their child’s mental health journey as well as address their own mental health concerns and other family challenges like parent and youth conflict. Samantha has experience and training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Informed Practice and Attachment Focused Family Therapy.

Samantha completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queen’s University and holds her Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. She has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community based mental health and inpatient psychiatric facilities.

Samantha has an open, welcoming and non-judgemental approach focusing on collaborative support for child, youth and family needs.
She will make sure you and your child feel your issues are understood and supported from the very first meeting.
