Tracey Marshall, (She/Her), R.P. (Qualifying)
I believe that individuals and families possess the strength to manage challenges, develop new
skills and strategies, and build healthy, happy relationships. My goal is to help you create space
to appreciate your positive resources and work towards improving more challenging areas. My
approach is non-judgemental, empathetic, and collaborative. Together we will create an
understanding of the challenges you would like to work on and develop a plan to move towards
achieving those goals.
I graduated from Brock University with an Honours B.A. in Sociology. After an extended period
of working within the child and family mental health field, I am currently completing my Master
of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I have more than 20 years of
experience working with youth and families in diverse environments including group homes,
lived-in treatment, day treatment classrooms, family outreach, youth justice, and crisis services.
I utilize evidence-based modalities including Solution-Focused, Collaborative Problem Solving,
DBT, and CBT. The approach and modality used will be tailored to the best fit for you, your
needs, and your goals. I am a registered qualifying member of the College of Registered
Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a registered member of the Ontario Society of
Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP).
“I want you to get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still
be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.”
~Virginia Satir
